Go Digital

May 20, 2021

Colorado PERA offers several ways to get information online or through digital options. By using our digital tools, you will always have access to the most current information about your PERA benefits, receive PERA news faster, and can even have your monthly benefit check deposited automatically into your bank account. If this appeals to you, consider going digital by using the following tools:

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive your monthly benefit check. Your check will be deposited directly in your account on the last business day of the month. There’s no waiting for your check to arrive in the mail and you don’t have to make a trip to the bank. You can sign up by logging in to your account on www.copera.org with your User ID and password and completing the online Direct Deposit by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) form.

Electronic Delivery

If you have email, we encourage you to sign up for electronic delivery so you will receive PERA information, like this Retiree Report newsletter, in your email inbox as soon as it’s available instead of waiting to receive it in the mail. Our electronic newsletters also include links to other content, like videos, that are easier and quicker to navigate than finding web pages manually from the print version.

Social Media

PERA regularly posts its latest news and informational videos on a variety of social media channels. You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Simply search for PERA on any of these platforms to find our official pages.

PERA on the Issues

PERA on the Issues is a blog that discusses issues about retirement, legislation, Social Security, health care, and more. New articles are published regularly and you can sign up for an email newsletter so you never miss a post. Visit www.peraontheissues.com.

Webinars

PERA’s Field Education Services team holds a variety of webinars each month so you can learn more about your PERA benefits right from your home computer or mobile device. You can even ask questions and hear what other retirees are asking, just like you would at an in-person meeting. PERACare Information webinars are held regularly for retirees who would like more information about the PERACare health benefits program. Visit the Webinars page to register.

PERA Website

All the information you need to know about PERA can be found on our website at www.copera.org. You can download publications, read the latest PERA news, and if you log in with your User ID and password, you can view your 1099-R, complete online forms, change your contact information, and much more.
