Open Enrollment Guides with personalized letters will be mailed to you by September 30, 2020. Inside this Guide you will find your 2021 premiums, a list of any changes to your coverage for the upcoming year, carrier contact information, and a PERACare Enrollment/Change Form.
New PERACare Enrollees
If you are not currently enrolled in PERACare but would like to receive detailed plan information, you may view it online, or call PERA’s Customer Service Center to request a packet. You may enroll during open enrollment even if you have not been enrolled in the past.

Contact the insurance carriers directly to get answers to questions about in-network providers, covered benefits or medications, or deductible or copay questions. Carrier phone numbers can be found on online or on the inside cover of your Open Enrollment Guide or booklet. Call PERA’s Customer Service Center for general PERACare enrollment or eligibility questions.
Online
In mid-September, the latest open enrollment information will be available online. Under the “PERACare” menu click on “PERACare for Retirees – 2021” to view or print plan information and enrollment forms, and watch helpful videos. Or you can visit the “PERACare for Retirees – Carriers” page to view carrier-specific information such as detailed benefit booklets, formulary lists, pharmacy and provider directories, phone numbers, and links to carrier websites.
Join a Virtual Meeting
Virtual meetings will be held weekly throughout open enrollment and will include Medicare and Pre-Medicare sessions. You will be able to join from your computer, smartphone, or call in with phone audio only.
